In 1988, we started World Class with a few basic concepts and important principles in mind – make the best athletic and field marking paints possible, make them environmentally friendly, provide “real” service for our customers, never lose sight of our original vision and have some fun along the way.
In looking back over the past 34 years, and reflecting on our vision, it has been an amazing journey to get to where we are today. Due to the efforts of so many people, our team has been able to share great successes and create a new standard in the athletic surfaces industry. Our team is not only in our shop, but the thousands of people who have used our products to make their own vision a reality. We have listened to everything our customers have said, and in the process of serving them better, we have been able to change the game. And we’ve done it all. The exceptional field graphics we bring to Major League Baseball and the NFL fuels the development of creating the same experience for high schools, city leagues and parks.
Thirty-four years ago, a field that was marked with World Class paint was a field that did not have lines burned into the grass. Twenty-four years ago, we invented (and eventually patented) our process for making athletic field stencils. We were able to create multi-colored stencils that were accurate to 1/16th of an inch. This patented process has helped to create football, baseball, soccer and other field logos that have served as the backdrop for so many memories. Fourteen years ago, we developed our ready-to-use paint. This took away the need to mix the perfect bucket, and instead used our systems to provide a perfect color for your vision.
The only thing our customer had to do was shake and apply. Our latest innovation is our Tote System. This system is a game changer by removing the need to ship paint in buckets, reducing a large amount of waste and saving our customers time and money.
